Provisions / sections
Chapters 1–2 (application, operating an MTF/OTF); 5.1–5.2 (spot commodity and forward contracts as Qualified Investments); 12-1 (facilities trading Investment Tokens / Qualified Investment Tokens); 13–20 (operational, member, disclosure and conduct requirements); Schedule 1.
Legal significance
Whether a meat or seafood token is a Qualified Investment Token is fact-dependent (contract terms, delivery, settlement). Nothing in MOTF makes such a token licensed automatically.
Proposed VIFC adoption action
Proposed adaptation Obtain AIFC counsel analysis per product; mirror only the useful structure (spot vs forward, delivery terms) in a proposed VIFC commodity token rule.
Original-language caveat
Original text in English; AIFC law applies only within the AIFC (Kazakhstan). Not operative in Viet Nam.
